Saturday 14 May 2022 marked 60 years since Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa ceremonially installed the divine Murtis of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, Jeevanpran Shree Abji Bapashree and the Lord's spiritual lineage in the grand Mandir situated at heart of Bhuj, Darbar Gadh Chowk.

This auspicious anniversary was celebrated over two days, in the divine presence of Acharya Swamiji Maharaj. Recitals of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato, Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Granth, Shree Jeevanpran Swamibapa ni Vato and Rahasyarth Pradeepika Tika Sah Vachanamrut were performed. A drama production was performed by the disciples of Bhuj, through which the miraculous events that occurred when Gurudev Swamibapa purchased the land to build Bhuj Mandir.

On the patotsav day, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj performed the patotsav ceremony and then thaal was offered to the Lord in the form of a splendid Annakut. Disciples from all over the world took this opportunity to perform aarti. In His divine blessings, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj talked about the history of the Mandir, and some of the significant events that took place at the time that Bhuj Mandir was established in 1962. He also described how the Mandir had continued to expand due to the continued efforts of Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.
