Under the inspiration of Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa and Ved Ratna Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, the Panchmahal region has flourished immensely over the past few decades. The disciples of this region are particularly devout and very to dear to Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa. The Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Faith has grown exponentially in the region, and a new Mandir in the village of Dhandhalpur was inspired by Sanatan Dharma Sanrakshak Acharya Swamishree Maharaj. This would be the first Shikhar-bandh Mandir in the Panchmahal region, and also the first in which marble Murtis of supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa would be installed.

For the formal opening of the Mandir and to perform the Murti Pratishtha ceremony, Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj inspired a 2 day festival, on Friday 22 October to Saturday 23 October 2021. Scripture recitals were held on behalf of countless disciples of the Panchmahal region. At the start of the festival, a procession was held from the outskirts of the village to the Mandir, which was led by Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band.

During the festivities held over the two days, many local dignitaries came to show their support for the new Mandir, and for darshan and to gain blessings from Acharya Swamiji Maharaj.
