Donation to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram’s Janma-bumi
Donation to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram’s Janma-bumi – ‘Ram's birthplace’ is documented in the ancient scriptures to be situated on the banks of the River Saryu in Ayodhya. A grand temple is being built at this sacred site.
The foundation stone for construction of the temple was laid on 5 August 2020 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A trust called Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has been created by the Government of India, and this trust will oversee the construction of the Ram Janma-bhumi Mandir.
Many organisations and individuals are making significant donations to this project. On behalf of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Acharya Swamiji Maharaj presented a charitable cheque of Indian Rupees 22,222,222 to this project dedicated to the highly respected and worshipped incarnation in the Hindu faith, Lord Shri Ram.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
