Friday 11 December, Kartik Vad 11/12 Ekadashi, marked five months since World Peace Ambassador Acharya Swamishree Maharaj willed to withdraw His human darshan from this mortal world. With the divine inspiration and encouragement of Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj, the Sants and disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bavla held a concert of devotional music on this day, in remembrance of our beloved Acharya Swamishree Maharaj.
This concert was broadcast live to all the disciples around the world, and included recollections of the wonderful memories that Vishwavatsalya Mahodadhi Acharya Swamishree Maharaj has given us, and the glorious deeds He performed during the forty-one years that He magnificently led the flourishing of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan around the world.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
