From 7 to 9 June 2006, the Hari-jap-yagna ceremony was held in the grounds of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Kheda. The purpose of holding this grand ceremony was to pray to the Almighty Lord, for peace and stability within the world.

A pray that the learned scholar chanted frequently was the ancient prayer of peace:

May there be peace in the divine abodes
May peace prevail in the sky and on the earth
May the waters, the vegetation and the animals remain in peace
May peace prevail everywhere upon the earth
May peace be manifest throughout the entire universe
And merciful Lord! May peace reside in our hearts and in our minds

During the course of these three days, charitable donations were made to the poor and students were given financial support for the continuation of their mainstream education.

Many of the district’s leading officials attended various parts of the proceedings to take part and gain the blessings of Acharya Swamishree, who had inspired this virtuous event.
