His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree celebrates the 26th Anniversary of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Delhi.
His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree travelled to Delhi by train, with a group of sants and devotees on 17th October 2004 . The prime purpose of the current visit was to perform the anniversary ceremony of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, who magnificently presides at Shree Swaminarayan Temple Delhi.
Accepting the humble wishes of the devotees of Delhi, Acharya Swamishree also visited their homes and held scripture recitals on their behalf. In this manner, Acharya Swamishree imparted the spiritual knowledge of the supreme Lord Swaminarayan to all the devotees and thereby strengthened their faith unto the Lord.
On 22nd October, Acharya Swamishree performed the 26th Patotsav ceremony at the Temple, in accordance with the ancient Vedic rituals. The sants and then the devotees were given the opportunity to perform aarti to the Lord and gain His blessings.
In His divine ashirwad, Acharya Swamishree talked about the importance of Delhi Temple in our Karan Satsang. He brought back memories of the magnificent Silver Jubilee celebrations that were held here last year. Acharya Swamishree said that the devotees who have complete trust and faith in the Lord will see each of His actions as being divine. In this manner, such devotees will never perceive faults to exist within the Lord. These are the true devotees of God. Only those who have such unfaltering faith in the Lord can perform true devotion unto Him.
On this occasion, the famous Indian sweet maker Manoharlal (Haldiram) Mithaiwala, came for the darshan of Acharya Swamishree. His Indian sweets are famous throughout India and are also sold in many other countries including the UK and the USA. Acharya Swami blessed Manoharlalbhai with a prasadi paag.
That afternoon, Acharya Swamishree returned to Maninagar by aeroplane.
