The district of Kutch lacked further education for women. Consequently, parents were curtailing the education of their daughters; they did not feel comfortable about letting the young ladies go far away to attend colleges in the major cities. Acknowledging this need, Acharya Swamishree inspired Shree Muktajeevan Arts and Commerce College, dedicated to the further education of women. Last year, the college was started in temporary facilities, on the outskirts of Bhuj. At the same time, a large plot of land was purchased by Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, to build new college premises. Due to the Lord’s divine mercy, the building work has swiftly progressed.
