Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's 78th Birthday Celebrations in Mumbai Mandir
On Thursday 28th May 2020, the Sants living in Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Mumbai celebrated Acharya Swamishree Maharaj's 78th birthday by performing poojan and offering a cake to the Lord. As there is a lockdown in the city at present, the disciples of Mumbai were not able to join the celebrations in person, but watched live over the internet, before watching the celebrations from Maninagardham.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
