Accepting the humble prayers of Sants and disciples, Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa was ceremonially weighed with gold, platinum and five precious stones when he had completed 50, 60 and 70 years. The proceeds of these ceremonies were used for the benefit of society. Numerous charitable and socially beneficial projects were instigated. One of these was the establishment of Shree Swaminarayan School, Maninagar. Situated in the grounds of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, the school provides education for students from kindergarten to high school standards. Reading rooms, computer labs and libraries are also provided.

A gathering of current and formers students of the school was held on Sunday 22 September 2019 in the main assembly hall of the school, Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Auditorium. The school was established in 1959, so this year marks exactly 50 years since its inauguration.

Acharya Swamishree Maharaj welcomed people who studied at the school – some of whom had returned for the first time after their graduation. He congratulated many individuals who had progressed to extremely high positions in society around the world since completing their studies.
