The month of Vaishakh is always special for the disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi living in Kutch, because the anniversary of all our Kutch temples falls within this month. Consequently, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj presides in the region for the duration of the Vaishakh month and gives darshan and spiritual guidance to everyone.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj reached Kutch on 29 April 2019 and was in Bhuj for 3 days. He then went to the village of Naranpur, where the Shree Sadguru Din commemorations were held on Saturday 4 May 2019. This was the last day of the preceding month, Chaitra. The preceding evening, an event of devotional dance and music was presented by Sants and disciples of the village.
During the 1 month stay in Kutch, which is currently facing a severe drought, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj will be making donations of fresh grass to the needy cows and other animals residing in the region. This is yet another of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s projects demonstrating His undying love and compassion for all living things. The project was commenced personally by Acharya Swamishree Maharaj in Naranpur.
On Tuesday 7 May 2019, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the patotsav ceremony of the supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa presiding in Naranpur Mandir.
