Swamibapa Pragatadham – Kheda Patotsav
The charming village of Kheda, on the banks of the Vatrak River, is the sacred site where Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa manifested upon the Earth in 1907 AD. With the inspiration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, a magnificent Mandir was built at the exact location of Gurudev Swamibapa’s manifestation, and its grand opening took place in 1990.
During the late afternoon of Monday 11 March 2019, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj reached Kheda. The next evening, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj hosted a special memorial concert of devotional songs, held in honour of the brave martyrs who were killed during the recent military conflicts in Kashmir.
On Wednesday 13 March 2019, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the 29th patotsav ceremony of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa presiding at Kheda Pragatyadham. The assembles held during the 2 day celebrations were held in Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Farm. This land was originally owned by the family generations of Gurudev Swamibapa. It was in Swamibapa’s name prior to him becoming a Sant and was then sold off to other villagers. However, it was Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s wish that this sacred land should be re-bought. That wish came true, and the field has now been developed into a working farm.
