Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the 43rd patotsav ceremony of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in Waghjipur
On Wednesday 31 October 2018, many thousands of people from the entire Panchmahal region gathered in the village of Waghjipur to celebrate the anniversary of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir that Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa established in the village in 1975.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj and Sants arrived on the preceding day, when He was ceremonially welcomed by the loving disciples of the village.
Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the 43rd patotsav ceremony of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa, after which an assembly of Sants and disciples was held. On behalf of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, donations were made to schools of the region.
Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.
