On Thursday 22 February 2018, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj performed the 28th patotsav ceremony of Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa presiding at Kheda Pragatyadham.

The charming village of Kheda, on the banks of the Vatrak River, is the sacred site where Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa manifested upon the Earth in 1907 AD. With the inspiration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj, a magnificent Mandir was built at the exact location of Gurudev Swamibapa’s manifestation, and its grand opening took place in 1990.
 
During the late afternoon of 20 February 2018, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj reached Kheda. During the evening, disciples performed a religious drama called Chandlano Pratap – the significance of the Chandlo.

As part of the ongoing charitable activities of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj donated sewing machines to poor widows living in Kheda and the surrounding regions to enable them to learn haberdashery skills and earn a living for themselves and their families.
