For the duration of the Vaisakh month, Acharya Swamishree remains in the Kutch region, where He performs the anniversaries of the temples in the various villages. The first patotsav is that of Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Naranpar, which falls on the auspicious day of Akha Trij, the day when traditionally, the Lord is adorned in soothing, fragrant sandalwood paste robes.
This year, Acharya Swamishree departed from Maninagar on 4 May 2013 and visited Bharasar, Mankuva and then arrived in Naranpar on Friday 10 May. The disciples had organised a 4 day festival to mark the 56th anniversary of when the supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa was ceremonially installed in the temple by Jeevanpran Swamibapa. A procession was held through Naranpar to welcome Acharya Swamishree to the village. On Monday 13th May 2013, Acharya Swamishree performed the patotsav ceremony of Naranpar Mandir.
