Panam Dam, situated on the Panam River that flows through Panchmahal, was the location of the Fuldolotsav celebrations, which were held on Monday 13 March 2017.
The Fuldolotsav festival is sometimes referred to as the Festival of Flowers, and occurs on the day after the holi festival. All over India, the days are celebrated by spraying coloured water and sprinkling powdered paint over one another. Holi is therefore sometimes referred to as the Festival of Colours. The colour is representative of the beautiful spring blossoms that would be emerging on the trees at this time of year.
During the morning assembly, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj presided over scripture recitals of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato.
During the afternoon, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj presided on a boat, where he ceremonially bathed Shree Harikrishna Maharaj in panchamrut, and then with coloured paint. His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Maharaj then sprayed this prasadi coloured water and powder over the Sants and disciples.
