Inspirator: His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa High School for Girls - Kheda

Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa was a pioneer in combining religion with charitable and educational projects. Even before the grand Mandir in Maninagar had been built, He created the boarding school, Shree Ishwar-sad-vidyashram. In this manner, He commenced the provision of education to those who were unable to afford this life necessity.

It is wholly appropriate that a school in Kheda, the village in which Jeevanpran Swamibapa chose to manifest on this Earth, has been renamed Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa High School for Girls.

A function was held on Thursday 24 September 2009 in the presence of Acharya Swamishree during which the leaders of the village and the school board honoured Acharya Swamishree for His generosity and commitment to providing social welfare for the inhabitants of Kheda. The school was established in 1998 by the M B Vaghela Memorial Education Trust. More recently, it was combined with the Kheda Kanya Vidyalay. This entire centre of education for schools has been renamed in Swamibapa’s honour.

In His blessings, Acharya Swamishree described how fortunate the children of Kheda are because the village has been blessed by Jeevanpran Swamibapa. He also explained what true education is: “Education must be based on moral values. Through one's education, an individual must cultivate a spirit of sacrifice, humility, selfless service to humanity, friendliness, discipline, adherence to truth, love and compassion, non-violence and faith in God. A person must develop wisdom, i.e. learn the acumen to distinguish between what is right and wrong. The soul is eternal. It accompanies you in every life. Provide it with the strength to escape from this relentless cycle of birth and death. Such strength, which can relieve a soul from its misery, is attained through true education, i.e. by instilling within one's life, the rudiments of virtuousness, righteousness and morality. This should be the aim of one's life.”
