Uganda Vicharan 2009
On 12th December 2009, Acharya Swamishree with the sant mandal and devotees left Nairobi by Kenya Airways for Kampala, Uganda. In the evening, HDH Acharya Swamishree performed padharamani at the Gentex Complex.

Kartak Vad Amas ( Sadguru Din )
Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa initiated the celebration of Sadguru Din in all the temples of Karan Satsang in commemoration of His beloved Gurudev Shree Ishvarcharandasji Swamibapa. To please Lord Swaminarayan, devotees on this day perform extra devotions in the form of meditation, religious discourses and listen to divine ashirvad.

Nairobi Hindola Festival 2009 (Updated)
This year's Hindola Festival runs from Ashad Vad 2, 2065 ( 9th July 2009 ) to Shravan Vad 2, 2065 ( 8th August 2009 ). During this festival devotee skillfully design and create magnificent hindola upon which to seat Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa will be seated upon beautifully decorated hindola(swing). Images of hindola will be updated on regular basis which can be viewed under this section.

Independence Day and Departure 2009
On 26th January 2009, Indian National Flag Hosting ceremony was held at Swamibapa Temple in presence of the Chief Guest, Dr.Ketan Shukla, Deputy High Commissioner of India and other distinguished guests. He was warmly received at the temple by Acharya Swamishree who led him to the flag podium as they walked past H H Swamibapa Pipe Band. The guests were presented with flower garlands, paagh and memento. Acharya Swamishree and the chief guest raised the Indian National Flag as H H Swamibapa played the Indian National Anthem.

Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Granth Parayan and Sadguru Din 2009
On 23rd January, Acharya Swamishree initiated the scripture recital of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Granth. Sants read the Holy Scripture and elaborated on the contents of each of the episodes. On the second day of the scripture recital, devotees made a beautiful podium decorated with fresh flowers. Acharya Swamishree with Hari Krishna Maharaj stood on the podium as the benefactors offered gifts to Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa. Acharya Swamishree showered His divine blessings to large number of devotees who had gathered to celebrate the occasion. At the end, everyone was served with mahaprasad.

National Park Visit and Education Awards 2009
On 21st January 2009, Acharya Swamishree with devotees visited the Nairobi National Park. The park houses various species of animals and birds and is a major tourist attraction center. Acharya Swamishree's love towards Lord's creation is unsurpassed as He showed during this visit by gently stroking the wildest of animals such as cheetah and lions.
