Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa initiated the celebration of Sadguru Din in all the temples of Karan Satsang in commemoration of His beloved Gurudev Shree Ishvarcharandasji Swamibapa. To please Lord Swaminarayan, devotees on this day perform extra devotions in the form of meditation, religious discourses and listen to divine ashirvad.

In addition to the above, the devotees in Nairobi perform samuh raas on every Sadguru Din.

Kartak Vad amas was celebrated on 16th November 2009. Acharya Swamishree, sant mandal and devotees sat in meditation as Muktajeevan Swamibapa explained to them the benefits and bliss attained through meditation. On this auspicious day, 550 samuh parayan of Shree Abji Bapashree ni Vato Part-1 were performed by 550 individuals. Each one’s prayer was to please the merciful Lord Swaminarayan, the protector of all evils.

Acharya Swamishree blessed the congregation with His divine words. Devotees adorned Acharya Swamishree in fresh flower chadar and performed samuh raas. At the end of the celebration, delicious prasad was distributed to everyone.
