Mombasa Vichran 2010

HDH Acharya Swamishree together with sant mandal and devotees toured the coastal town of Mombasa from 24th - 29th November’2010. Upon His arrival at Moi International Airport in Mombsa, HDH Acharya Swamishree was warmly welcomed by Mombasa mayor, Ahmed Mohdhar. The mayor accompanied the entourage upto Wasons Cottages where HDH Acharya Swamishree and the sant mandal resided for the week.

The Dashabdi Mahotsav (10th Annivarsay) of Swamibapa Temple, Religious and Cultural Centre in Nairobi actually commenced in Mombasa. Of the 450 samuh parayans to be performed during

this Dashabdi Mahotsav, sixteen were performed in Mombasa on 26th November 2010. He performed other samuh parayans and blessed Mombasa residents by visiting their homes, quarries, yards, offices and workshops. A group of acrobats who displayed their acrobatic skills and entertained the crowd were also fortunate to receive His blessings. He also visited Wild Waters where everyone had fun on the water slides.

 Skills development, socializing and group coordination activities such as taap ni mudra, filling water bottles with dishes, chair race, rolling of marbles in a glass using a measure tape, clipping pegs on a person’s face, identification of disguised person, feeding your colleague while blind folded among others were performed in presence of HDH Acharya Swamishree.

One of the most noteworthy activity was the panchamrut snan to Harikrishna Maharaj in the Indian Ocean.HDH Acharya Swamishree performed the snan with the five nectors and in turn sants and devotees showered HDH Acharya Swamishree with milk, saffron water, curd, honey and powdered sugar. HDH Acharya Swamishree finally sprinkled devotees with coloured water which provided cooling effect under the scorching Mombasa sun.
