  • Over 100 people attended the blood donation session at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury held on Sunday 18th June on a day when many were celebrating Father’s Day.

    Father’s Day, is traditionally a day to honour fathers and father figures. Many people make a special effort to and send cards or gifts. Today, the donors that attended the blood donation session offered others the ultimate gift, the gift of life.
  • The campaign to support Save the Children in celebration of Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s 75th year Sadbhav Amrut Parva continues strongly, with four adventurous swimmers braving an open water swim on Saturday 10th June 2017.
  • Young and old disciples in London had the joyous privilege of celebrating His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s 75th Manifestation at Kingsbury Mandir on Monday 29th of May, 2017.
  • Our spiritual great grandfather, Sadguru Shree Ishwarcharandasji Swamibapa, manifested in the village of Ashlali on Samvat 1923 Vaishakh Vad 4 (Wednesday 22 May 1867). This year, we celebrate His 150th year.
  • Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury welcomes cricketing star Morris Ouma to the coaching ranks of Swamibapa Cricket Club, which operates under the umbrella of the Mandir’s Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Sports Academy.
  • On Saturday 20th March 2017, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Kingsbury set up a fantastic Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Walk in nearby Silver Jubilee Park to raise vital funds for Save the Children.

    Over one hundred little Muddy Puddlers took part in the event and helped to raise over £2,000 with more sponsorship continuing to flood in.
  • The mondo*dr awards recognise and celebrate the technical achievements of audio installations around the world. The magazine that organises the awards is present in every corner of the world and puts these highest quality projects in the spotlight.
  • Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury is immensely proud that four of our own community members have been recognised by the Mayor of Brent for their outstanding charity and community work. Suryakantbhai Jadva, Mahesh Bhojani, Premila Bhojani and Muks Rabadia were all commended for their selfless service to society at a special ceremony alongside only a handful of other community champions.
  • Sundeep Bhudia, a 16 year old student at The Compton School in Finchley, currently completing his final year of General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) was tasked to create a flat pack building which used no glue or tape as part of his graphics project.
  • Wednesday 5th April marked the 236th anniversary since the supreme Lord Shree Swaminarayan manifested on the Earth for the benefit of all souls. Celebrations took place at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury in the traditional way of re-enacting the divine episode of the Lord’s arrival.
