This year, the day of Gurupoonam was held at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton on Sunday 9th July 2017 marked Ashadh Sud Poonam, Gurupoonam, a day dedicated to one’s Guru.
Gurudev Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa, seated on a decorated palanquin, was brought in to the Temple along with offerings such as fruit.

Everyone then had the privilege of performing aarti and poojan to Lord Swaminarayan bapa Swamibapa before receiving prasad.
