| Pipe Bands of Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan
Shree Muktajeevan Pipe Band (London) was established in 1972 in honour of Jeevanpran Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa. In 1970, Jeevanpran Swamibapa visited His followers in England and a procession was held in the streets of Central London, culminating in a religious service and cultural concert in Trafalgar Square. This procession was led by a Scottish pipe band that impressed Jeevanpran Swamibapa so much that He inspired His disciples to take up the discipline. With the continuous i
nspiration and guidance of His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree Purushottampriyadasji Maharaj, the Band has flourished into a unique Indian Pipe Band in full Scottish regalia playing both Indian and Scottish tunes.
Similarly sister Bands have been established the world over - H H Swamibapa Pipe Band in Nairobi, Kenya, Swamibapa Pipe Band in New Jersey, USA and Swaminarayan Gadi Pipe Band in Bolton, UK. All of these Bands frequently mobilise to support charitable causes.
