The definition of dharma, as described in the Shruti and Smruti,
is to live with sadaachaar (good and moral conduct). Bhakti is defined
as an immense love for the supreme Lord that is combined with a genuine
understanding and knowledge of His greatness. ||103||
|
|
The words and teachings of the Lord Himself are known
as Shruti (i.e. Vachanamrut, Shikshapatri etc.). Guidance from great sants
of the Lord is called Smruti.
