The sanctity of the Gandhinagar Temple has been violated by the atrocities of militant terrorists, leaving the whole of Gujarat in a state of high alert.

His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree has immediately held special prayers in all the Swaminarayan Mandirs around the world, for the spiritual peace of all the souls who have perished under such mindless circumstances, and for those who have been injured, at the hands of the terrorists. This was a sad day for the entire Swaminarayan Sampradaya and indeed the whole God fearing world.

Acharya Swamishree spoke at length with Shree Pramukh Swami Maharaj to offer His condolences. This was a very emotional and tearful conversation. Acharya Swamishree said, “Swamiji, whatever has happened can only have occurred by the will of Shreeji Maharaj, and Shreeji Maharaj will ensure that everything is restored to normality. Acharya Swamishree has appealed for everyone to remain calm, and to maintain vigilance and alertness. He has pleaded for everyone to maintain their sanity, but not to react by erupting with a dire retaliation.
