As a worldwide centre for spiritual, cultural and social welfare Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan humbly performs a range of charitable and humanitarian acts to ensure the spread of respect, decency, morality, positivity, comradeship and honour amongst members of the Sansthan and the community at large.
To celebrate these core values of the Sansthan, in celebration of Sadbhav Amrut Parva, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury is partnering with Save the Children to raise significant funds for this wonderful charity and increase awareness of their amazing work in saving children’s lives. This is all being done under Acharya Swamishree Maharaj’s philosophy that “Dedicating one's life to the service of others is the truest celebration of a festival”.
All funds raised really will help save children’s lives, meaning Save the Children can ensure every last child gets to learn, play and grow up healthy and happy.
The Muddy Puddle Walk is a fab new fundraising event, created especially for nursery age children and above. It will be a great way for our little ones to explore their world and we can’t wait to try out some fun Peppa-related creative activities with them!
Join us in Lake Windermere for the UK's biggest weekend of open water swimming. Thousands of new and experienced swimmers will grab their goggles, wiggle into their wetsuits for an iconic swim experience, and raise funds for some fantastic charities, including our team raising for Save the Children.
Dubbed as “probably the toughest event on the planet”, Tough Mudder is a mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. It’s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.
These event are all in addition to the Mandir ongoing charity campaigns, such as our regular Blood donation sessions, about which you can find out more here
