On the first night of the Festival of Unity and Peace, a special evening of devotional music – “Bhakti bhari Mumbai ki shaam” – was inspired by His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree. The evening was directed by the world-renowned musical producer, Shree Shravankumar Rathod. Hundreds of disciples, as well as eminent guests, had gathered in the audience to listen to the melodious kirtans sung by Mumbai’s most eminent playback artists, which included Bharat Joshi, Javed Ali and Sujata Trivedi to name but a few. The full itinerary of kirtans is a follows:
